What is NOPTCA?

The Northern Ohio Painting and Taping Contractors Association, (NOPTCA) is a nonprofit member association consisting of professional, union painting contractors who provide the highest quality craftsmanship, while ensuring a safe work environment for all union painters in Northeast Ohio.

NOPTCA's Board of Trustess and staff work together with IUPAT - District Council 6 to make sure union employees are highly trained, educated and drug-free. In order to provide these services, NOPTCA trustees serve on the following boards:

Finishing Trades Institute of the Ohio Region - Oversees The Apprenticeship program and Journeyman upgrading classes.

Painting Industry Heath and Welfare Fund - Monitors the Medical Health Insurance and Pension Fund Programs to ensure the best possible service is provided to members.

Painters' Joint Trade Board - Oversees the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Additional Services

The Construction Industry Substance Abuse Program (CISAP) - to promote a drug-free workplace.

BWC - Workers' Compensation Claims Management Program through Compmanagement to receive a discounted rate.
